This February, the HArts Design+Build team traveled to Las Vegas for KBIS and IBS 2024. If you’re not familiar, the Kitchen and Bath Industry Show (KBIS) and its neighboring show, the International Builders Show (IBS) are considered to be one of the central places to find industry advancements in design and technology. Thousands of attendees from around the world come each year – this year, KBIS boasted its “biggest show ever” with over 41,500 attendees and 670 exhibitors!
In addition to connecting companies with designers, KBIS also holds a competition where innovative companies can compete for the Best of KBIS awards. The 2024 award-winners included some well-known brands like Kohler, but largely featured exciting up-and-coming industry innovators.
In this article, we’ll take a closer look at all of the Best of KBIS Silver and Gold winners.
Meet the Best of KBIS Winners
Best in Show
Winner: FreePower for Countertop by FreePower

FreePower partners with counter fabricators to add invisible charging stations to almost any type of countertop. Plus, their system comes with interactive lighting to reveal the charging area when your phone is nearby and disappear when it’s not. It even comes with an app that allows you to change the color and brightness of what they call the “charging halo.” Definitely a “Best in Show” worthy-product!
Style Statement: Kitchen
Gold Winner: Professional Series 48” Induction Range in Carbonio by Bertazzoni

Bertazzoni’s sleek induction range took home the 2024 Gold award for Style Statement: Kitchen. In addition to its beautiful look, this professional series delivers great functionality. It boasts 6 high-power heating zones on the stove, and the largest self-cleaning oven in its class. This range also comes with a dedicated air-frying mode for healthier cooking!
Silver: Viking RVL Collection by Viking Range, LLC

However, the Style Statement: Kitchen Silver winner is not to be overlooked. The collection is designed with black glass, allowing it to seamlessly integrate into any kitchen, contemporary or otherwise. The RVL Collection will include steam and convection ovens, cooktops, warming drawers, and built-in refrigeration. Style Statement: Bath
Gold Winner: Wall-Mounted Tub Filler by Tenzo Fine Plomberie

The Style Statement: Bath Gold award went to Tenzo this year for their wall-mounted tub filler. This design features a retractable shower hose, a hot and cold tap, and a valve to switch between outputs all on the same wall mount. The tub filler itself works as a lever, which can pivot out to the tub and then tuck back against the wall, as seen in the photo from KBIS above.
Silver Winner: Venezia by Venini from Fantini

The silver winner of Style Statement: Bath went to Venezia for their stylish sink handles. Each handle is two-tone and filigree, made through the exquisite art of Murano glassmaking. Their luxury is in their quality and craftmanship. According to Venezia, these handles cannot be replicated industrially!
Game Changing Innovation
Gold Winner: Luxury 30 in. SlimTechTM Insulation Column Refrigerator by JennAir

This is the first-ever winner of KBIS’ new Game Changing Innovation award! JennAir’s Insulation Column Refrigerator delivers luxury inside and out. Whereas industry competitors offer white interiors, JennAir’s obsidian interior makes food look beautiful. Plus, the unique fridge lighting ensures enhanced visibility throughout the fridge.
The number of features included makes it no mystery why this fridge took home the Gold this year. From hushed acoustics, to an app-powered “vacation mode” efficiency option, to smooth close drawers, to smart integration with Alexa and Google Assistant, this fridge has it all.
Silver Winner: Novy Shelf Pro by Novy

Similarly stunning is the Silver winner in this category, the Novy Shelf Pro. This shelf has Gesture Control technology that allows you to change the width and position of the light beam at any time. Plus, the controls also allow you to customize your light intensity and ambience with ease.
Most Functional Find
Gold Winner: REVEGO by Blum

Blum’s “Most Functional Find” Gold winner, REVEGO, is a pocket door built for multifunctional spaces. With these doors, you can close off closets, kitchens, and living areas easily when not in use. REVEGO is built with cutting-edge hardware, making operation quick and simple for the homeowner. Blum have been industry leaders for years now, and it was amazing to see their products in-person at KBIS this year!
Silver Winner: HydroTap Celsius All-in-One Plus with Pull-Down Sprayer by Zip Water

This year, the Silver went to Zip Water’s pull-down faucet system. The pull-down is the latest in their series of multifunctional faucets. Previously, they’ve offered all-in-one taps for hot, cold, and sparkling water!
Now, their pull-down faucet offers even more functionality. It can help you wash dishes, rinse foods, and pour you a glass of cold, hot, and sparkling water. It’s pretty incredible to see it in action, too. This product isn’t out quite yet, but it’ll become available in Summer of 2024.
Sustainable Standout
Gold Winner: RainStick Lite by RainStick

This one is an especially exciting innovation for the people in our home state of California. Introducing the Sustainable Standout: Gold winner – RainStick Lite!
The original RainStick was a shower column that collects your shower water, pipes it vertically through a water treatment system, and allows you to instantly reuse the water. Their sustainable shower system uses less than 5 gallons of water per shower, while doubling your water flow. Now, its more luxurious cousin, the RainStick Lite, can give you all the functionality of their sustainable shower with a new, more streamlined look.
Silver Winner: Transcendence by Kohler WasteLAB x Nada Debs by Kohler

The Silver award went to Kohler’s Transcendence, the latest release from their WasteLAB. The Kohler WasteLAB won a Silver award for Best Bath Product at KBIS last year, and they continue to be a standout in the industry in 2024.
Designed by Nada Debs, this new collection takes inspiration from the traditional Middle Eastern public bath and steam experience called Hammam. The tiles themselves are made in the WasteLAB out of landfill-bound materials left over from the manufacturing process. What a beautiful transformation!
Wellness Trailblazer
Gold Winner: SpaViva Two-Function Handshower and All-in-One Cleansing Device by Kohler

Kohler’s second award winner this year was SpaViva for Wellness Trailblazer: Gold! This handshower comes with a number of different sprays and features to make your shower a true, relaxing self-care routine. For example, the MicroBubble spray offers a setting that will clean deep into your pores. It also comes with magnetic attachments for even more versatility, including a facial cleaning brush, a body scrubber, and even a body massager.
Silver Winner: M6A Water Purifier by FOTILE

Our last Silver winner packs a powerful punch. This is Fotile’s M6A Water Purifier, a purification system that can remove over 99% of harmful metals from your water supply. In this system, your water undergoes a 7-step filtration process. They even include a step to reintroduce healthy minerals into your water for better taste and wellness. This water purifier isn’t available in the US yet but stay tuned for its release in the next year or so!
