Remote Chief Architect Drafter & Cabinet Quoting Specialist
Location: Remote, California preferred, but open to the right portfolio
Job Type: Part-time contracting to start (10–30 hours/week), with a strong pathway to Full-time as the role and company evolve over the next six months
Schedule: Flexible hours, including holidays. Allotted hours per task, pay and deadline to complete
Compensation: $ TBD /hour (Commensurate with experience)
Our busy design-build office is seeking a sharp, meticulous Remote Drafter with expert-level Chief Architect software skills and solid experience in cabinet quoting. We need an active team member who can jump in immediately, work independently, and grow alongside our rapidly expanding company.
Because we specialize in detailed remodels, new builds and accessory dwelling units (ADUs), true attention to detail is non-negotiable. If you are a self-starter who takes pride in flawless construction documents and thrives under minimal supervision, we want to hear from you.

Key Responsibilities
- Develop comprehensive new build and permit drawing sets.
- Generate accurate cabinet entries based on developed elevations, plans, and detailed product quotes.
- Organize and prioritize multiple ongoing project deadlines efficiently.
- Collaborate remotely while proactively troubleshooting and solving design/permitting hurdles.
Required Qualifications & Experience
- Chief Architect Software: Minimum 3 years of hands-on experience (Required).
- Permit Drafting & Applications: Minimum 2 years of proven experience (Required).
- Portfolio Standard: Must have a strong background in new builds and ADUs.
- Work Ethic: High personal accountability, excellent time management, and the ability to meet strict deadlines.
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent (Required).
- Language: English fluency, written and spoken.
